Position Overview
KidAlytics is looking for a Program Instructor to conduct out-of-school and after-school classes in a virtual and on-demand setting. Instructors work closely with schools, organizations, and other instructors to ensure all out/after-school programming remains engaging, educational, and fun for youth and young adults. All necessary training and materials will be provided. The Program Instructor will be responsible for the delivery and execution of KidAlytics data curriculums. This position can become a full-time position for the right candiate.
Responsibilties
Fully understand and internalize lesson content and concepts related to data analytics, science, technology, engineering, and/or Math (STEM).

Follow all lesson plans, paying close attention to each day’s key concepts and content;

Adapt teaching materials to cater to diverse learners and incorporate culturally responsive teaching practices;

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning;

Ability to provide students with differentiated and engaging data and STEM instruction

Efficient class management skills (up to 15 kids at a time);

Manage time effectively throughout each day’s lessons and activities;

Serve as a KidAlytics Knowledge Ambassador by creating and curating curriculum content through videos and other digital mediums to engage and educate students.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is early in their career or looking to move into the education space, is eager to grow and develop, and is committed to KidAlytics' mission to embrace excellence in inclusive and equitable education with analytics, inside and outside the classroom, through developing critical thinking, strategic planning, and social-emotional learning curricula. We emphasize the learning process with data science and STEM in real-world applications. By focusing on emerging technologies accelerated with data, we prepare digital citizens for the future of work now.

College degree or working towards it;

Degree in the fields of Education, Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Math or Physics preferred;

2+years in a teaching role, whether as a tutor, camp counselor, or in a classroom setting;

Experience working with youth and young adults;

Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite, video conferencing, and working knowledge of LMS platforms;

Proven experience in designing engaging, student-centric lessons;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Comfort with content creation, particularly video;

An unwavering commitment to inclusive and equitable STEM and digital education;
